Inspiring (and slightly awkward) student travel stories

For students, travel is a chance to be away from home, explore other cultures, and meet new people. It’s also full of little victories. Like feeling confident ordering in another language, (almost) dodging bird poop, and finally getting to try a slice of New York cheesecake. Read on and watch for some fun and important school trip stories!

While growth isn’t technically on the itinerary, it’s what you can expect from every EF tour.

A Pacific perspective

From gazing up at the Golden Gate Bridge, to basking in the bright lights of Hollywood, to ordering their own ketchup, these students experienced some milestone moments during their voyage through sunny California. Go coastal on California Panorama.

Big city state of mind

Iconic architecture, world-famous musicals, and really really good pizza make New York City an epic destination. But for these students, new friends and a giant gorilla puppet are what made for unforgettable travel stories. See the city on Broadway & the Arts.

Cue the culture

In Québec City, French flair meets Canadian charm, and pea soup meets maple syrup. (Don’t knock it ‘til you try it.) While exploring the quaint city streets, students practiced ordering in French, danced like no one was watching, and learned about themselves along the way. Head north on Language & Culture in Québec.

Bring moments like these to life anywhere EF travels or read here for more school trip stories!
