Nothing beats in-person learning, and we know you can’t wait to be back with your students. But in the meantime, we’re trying to find new ways to help you keep your students inspired and engaged with the world around them—even when they can’t venture out of their own neighborhoods.
That’s why we’re excited to present you with our new Immersion Challenges. They’re filled with quick prompts to help your students explore their little corner of the universe, and find a new way of looking at the things, people, and places they see every day.
Some of the prompts can be answered via multiple choice. Others need a written response. To make the challenge even more interactive, some prompts ask students to upload their own images, video, or audio clips.
Finally, once your students complete the challenge, they’ll get a link with their full list of answers. If you’d like to see their work, just ask your students to share the link with you!
Sometime soon, we’ll emerge from our homes and explore the larger world again. And when that time comes, we hope to help you lead your students on a truly immersive and life-changing educational tour. Until then, we promise to continue to support, encourage, and inspire you however we can—and we think these Immersion Challenges are a good place to start.
