1. Varsity: In the mood for a quick bite and even quicker speak? Just look for the “V.” Varsity – the largest drive-in fast food restaurant in the world is known for their lingo as much as their food. Whether you want a Naked Dog (a pain hot dog in a bun) or a Heavy Dog (a hot dog with extra chili) they serve two miles of hot dogs, a ton of onions, 2,500 pounds of potatoes and 300 gallons of chili every day. And it’s all made from scratch.
2. Sun Dial Restaurant: As Atlanta’s only tri-level dining; the menu isn’t the only thing that rotates. The Sun Dial offers a breathtaking 360-degree panorama thanks to their revolving restaurant and rotating cocktail lounge. So sit back and enjoy all of Atlanta from 723 feet above the city.
3: PittyPat’s Porch: Named and inspired after Aunt Pitty Pat from “Gone with the Wind,” this restaurant lets diners experience the pleasure of southern cooking while sipping on some famous mint juleps and non-alcohol watermelon coolers to quench that hot Georgia weather thirst.

4. World of Coca-Cola: Head to the place where the famous fizzy drink’s story is told through exhibits, a 4-D theatre, classic ads and a fully functioning bottling station. You can taste more than 70 Coke products from around the world and use that sugar buzz to rush around the gift shop to pick your favorite souvenirs.
5. Inside CNN Atlanta: Want to learn how a newsroom operates? Get a peek into the behind-the-scenes action; see how a broadcast is put together; and figure out how reporters read those darn weather maps. Appointments are recommended in advance because the news waits for no one.
6. Georgia Aquarium: If you’re feeling fishy, take a trip to the Georgia Aquarium where you can see more than 120,000 animals in more than 8 million gallons of marine and fresh water. This is the world’s largest aquarium so it’s only natural that the world’s largest fish calls it home too.
7. Fox Theatre: To get your arts and culture fix stop by the Fox Theatre and take in a show. Built in 1929, the 4,678 seat auditorium hosts a variety of events from ballet, Broadway shows and musical artists to a summer film series.

8. MLK Jr. National Historic Site: Established to preserve the places where Dr. King spent his time, you can visit the D.R.E.A.M. gallery inside the Visitor Center or take a look at the Freedom Road Marches as well as walk through the original Ebenezer Baptist Church where Martin Luther King, Jr. and father pastored.
9. Centennial Olympic Park: As the former site of the 1996 Centennial Olympic Games, today the park features the popular Fountain of Rings and a slew of events including Fourth Saturday Family Fun Days, a free festival with hands-on activities, and an annual Independence Day concert and fireworks display.
10. Stone Mountain Park: As Georgia’s most visited attraction with four million visitors each year, this 3,300-acre beauty lets friends and families enjoy the outdoors while getting to experience a variety of activities.
